Calorifier Internal Inspections

In accordance with ACoPL8 the internal condition of Calorifiers must be inspected on an annual basis either using the inspection hatch or a boroscope.

If inspection deems necessary then the internals of the calorifier will then be cleaned to remove any sludge and debris.

A calorifier inspection report and disinfection certificate will then be produced for insertion into the Water Hygiene Log Book.

Calorifier De-scale

Following a routine inspection of a calorifier either via opening the inspection hatch or via a boroscope, it may be deemed necessary to descale the internal surface.

Alpha FM Services Ltd use various methods to achieve this depending on the particular system to be de-scaled.
