Alpha FM Services Ltd offer Air and Water monitoring services and Risk Assessments for the Commercial Sector, helping your organisation meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Health and Safety Commission's Approved Code of Practice.

Legionella Risk Assessments

Our risk assessment reports are easy to read and understand, contain photographs of your own equipment and contain a table of recommendations and a basic schematic of your water system to enable you to comply with the legislation for safe working practices. Our risk assessments comply with ACoP L8 and BS 8580. 

Log Books and Training

Our comprehensive Water Hygiene Log Book will assist you in meeting the requirements of ACoP L8. We can also offer training in ACoP L8 procedures.

Bacteriological Testing

Sampling for Legionella bacteria will help demonstrate that control of the water systems is being achieved, in order to comply with ACoP L8.

Chlorination of Water Services

All work is carried out to ACoP L8 and BS6700. Chlorination and Bacteriological certificates are provided upon completion. We can carry out chlorinations on storage tanks and all water services including mains water pipes. We offer a fast and efficient service on new installations prior to mains connection.

Alternatively, we can sterilise your water services without taking them out of service and, if required, calorifiers can be pasterurised.

Air Hygiene Survey

Our tests include dust and particle levels, airborne bacteria, combustion gases, and ozone. We also measure temperature and humidity levels and bring the results together in a comprehensive report.
